How full is your bucket?

Image
How Full Is Your Bucket? Provocation We read the book 'How full is your bucket?' We talked about how we can feel upset or quite low on days for different reasons. Children could relate to this.  We discussed how sometimes our buckets feel a little empty. On other days we feel great because something really great might have happened. We related this to how now your bucket feels full. Create All children had to make their own bucket and draw or write things in it that made them feel great. This is just a little reminder about the positive things in our lives.  Evaluate / Share Every morning with a peg children mark on their bucket how full their bucket is. This will give the teachers and other children in class an indication of how they are feeling and that they might need some reassuring throughout the day.
